My name is Angel Wiggins-Heggs, and through 113 Adventure, I am growing in the travel business, creating experiences that bring people together and inspire meaningful connections. Jacquelyn “Jackie” DeLane, my Mama D, first introduced me to this industry through her business, Royal Elite Travel and Tours, and it is an honor to walk this journey as her partner.

She truly embodies the “Stay Ready” mindset by living boldly, walking in her purpose, and encouraging others to show up unapologetically as themselves. She often says, “I am my ancestors’ wildest dreams,” and the way she lives her life reflects that truth through wellness, leadership, and legacy. Because of her guidance, love, and belief in me, I am proud to call her Mama D and proud to be her daughter.

Even through profound loss—your son Kevin, your parents, your husband—you have remained a light, uplifting others with resilience and love. Now, as we stand side by side as Directors in Training, we embody what it means to “Be Ready”—ready to grow, to lead, and to embrace every new chapter together. Jackie stays ready in all seasons. She has become passionate about self-care after being a selfless caretaker for many of her loved ones. Jackie extends her giving spirit to her family, friends, and anyone who needs help.

One quality I admire most about Jackie is her willingness to bring like-minded people together. She is deeply committed to and actively involved in her church, AARP, and her travel and marketing businesses. In a time when many interactions have shifted to virtual meetings, Jackie makes a conscious effort to bring people with shared interests together for in-person collaboration and networking. She understands that face-to-face connections build relationships and strengthen teams. Jackie’s ability to create those spaces for connection is a true strength and a gift to the communities she serves.
